Success Rates

Our average global success rate is around 80%, varying year on year and by country.

Why Some Clients Achieve Higher Success Rates

  • Strong, clear language in the introduction letter

  • Consistent standard messaging to counterparties

Please Note: Inconsistent messaging can reduce the perceived importance of participation and lead to lower success rates.

Success rates improve over time as programs become more established and previously rated companies are refreshed.

Company size does not impact success rate—we can rate any company with a full income statement and balance sheet, regardless of size.

  • Ratings are equally accurate for large, medium, or small firms.

What is Included in Determining Success Rate?

The success rate includes all private company outreach requests that count toward your contract year allotment. Most outreach requests—whether won or lost—are included in your allotment because they require time and resources from our team.

There are a few exceptions that do not count toward your allotment and therefore do not affect your success rate:

  • Closed – Exception

  • Closed – Client Request

Any requests with these two statuses will not be counted toward the allotment.

All other statuses will be included.
