Enhanced Company Rating Visibility
RapidRatings has improved the experience of viewing both public and private companies rated for your organization through the outreach process.
Private Companies: If your organization uses outreach, all private companies are rated via the private company outreach process.
Special Cases: Occasionally, an outreach request is launched for a company believed to be private, but:
The company is actually public, or
It has a public parent and cannot provide standalone data.
In these cases, the request is linked to the public company report within the Network Outreach Dashboard.
You now have a cohesive view of the status of these requests and ratings within your Program Dashboard.
Previously, the status of rated requests for public companies via outreach did not appear in your dashboard.
Main Benefits
This change ensures you can see the rating status of all companies for which you have requested ratings.
If a rating request for a private company turns out to be a public company, it will now appear in your dashboard.
What's Changed?
This enhancement provides a holistic view of all your rated companies and a more intuitive experience. You’ll notice updates in the following areas:
Company Rating Page: Displays a Public Company label above the company name.
All Active Shares: Tab has been renamed Rated on your Program Management page.
Under this Rated tab you will now see both your public and private rated companies.
A new column, Company Type, identifies whether a company is private or public.
A filter allows you to refine your view by Private Company or Public Company.
Can I Still Search the RR Database for Public Companies?
Yes! You can still search for ratings of public companies on the portal’s homepage using the search function.
However, you cannot search for all public companies within the Network Outreach dashboard—only those that have been connected to a private rating request will appear there.
Public companies that are not linked to a private outreach do not appear in your dashboard because they have not consumed any of your private company allotment.
