The table below provides definitions of the different statuses you will see as your private company outreach requests progress.
Status | Description |
Additional Information Required | We have received a submission from your counterparty, but Rapid Ratings Data Analysis team has indicated that we require additional financial data or clarification in order to rate the target company. The Member Services team will follow up with the target company shortly. |
Client Assistance Requested: Reason | Rapid Ratings Member Services team has reached out to you for assistance in order to progress the outreach request. Please refer to the Escalation Management page for additional details. |
Closed - Client Request | The outreach request has been closed per your guidance. This typically applies in cases where the target company is no longer considered critical to your business, or where there is minimal business activity or spend associated with the company. |
Closed - Unresponsive | The outreach request has been closed, because the target company was unresponsive to our outreach efforts despite multiple follow-up attempts. |
Closed - Exception | Rapid Ratings was unable to produce a rating for the target company due to factors outside the scope of our methodology. Common examples include

Closed - Rated without Counterparty Submission
| The outreach request has been completed, and a rating was produced using financial statements that were not submitted by the target company via the FHR Exchange. This indicates that Rapid Ratings Member Services Team was able to source the financial data through alternative means—such as a public data registry, a direct submission from the client, or via a shadow share from another client’s request.

Closed - Uncooperative | The outreach request has been closed, as the target company declined to participate despite multiple follow-up attempts. |
Financial Review in Progress | We’ve received a submission from your counterparty, and Rapid Ratings Data Analysis Team is currently reviewing the financial information provided. If no additional details are required, the FHR results will be published shortly. |
Financials Submitted - Pending Review | The target company has submitted their financial data, and our Data Analytics Team will begin reviewing the submission shortly. |
In Progress - Acknowledged | The target company has acknowledged receipt of the request but has not yet confirmed their willingness to participate in the program. |
In Progress - Commit | The target company has submitted financial data; however, the submission is incomplete and does not include all the information required to generate a rating. |
In Progress - Likely | The target company has indicated a willingness to participate and provide the requested financial information. |
In Progress - Stretch | The target company has responded indicating they are currently unwilling to participate. We are actively engaging with them to better understand their concerns and explore potential solutions. |
Question Regarding Submission | We’ve received a submission from the counterparty, and Rapid Ratings Member Services team is actively engaging with the target company to obtain additional financial information or clarify details related to their submission. |
Rated | The target company has been successfully rated, and their FHR is now available for viewing.

Request Created | The request has been imported and is currently being prepared for launch in our system. Rapid Ratings Member Services team will be reaching out to the target company shortly. |
Request On Hold | The outreach request has been placed on hold until a specified date. In most cases, this is due to the temporary unavailability of financial statements.

Share Accepted | The target company has accepted the Share Request, and the rating is now available to be viewed. |
Share Requested | The target company has already been rated for another client on the FHR Exchange. We’ve reached out to request that they share their existing FHR with you. |
Supplier Contacted - No Response | We’ve contacted your counterparty and are currently awaiting their acknowledgment of the request. |
Supplier Contact Failed | The automated attempt to contact the target company using the email address provided was not successful. Rapid Ratings Member Services team is working to validate the supplier contact information or ensure a manual email is successfully delivered. |
