Cheat Sheet: Company Reports and Resources

There's a lot of content here, and quite a lot you can do with the RapidRatings platform! At the beginning, it may all be a bit overwhelming - to that end, we've created a quick "cheat sheet" of sorts, based on frequent client asks.

To assess an individual company, check out:

  1. Private Company Request - we obtain private company financials on your behalf, and produce a report suite for you

  2. FHR Report Guide - our main in-depth dive providing qualitative analysis on what we like and what we don’t like as well as where we think that company is heading along with 8-9 years of trend analysis

  3. Financial Dialogue Report  - provides the questions that would be worthwhile asking a company in a financial review as explained by 5 key financial health points. We do the homework for you

  4. Peer Benchmark Report - compare key metrics to a peer group of regularly updated public companies

  5. Custom Peer Benchmark Report - compare key metrics to a portfolio / group of companies you have built

To assess groups of suppliers, check out:

  1. Portfolio Analysis - build and edit groups of companies based on your criteria and choosing

  2. Portfolio Risk Report - highlight metrics of the portfolio (total exposures, total deteriorating, risk level percentages) and obtain a heat map of the historical and current ratings

  3. Matrix Report - provide heat maps of the constituents’ past and present FHR and core health scores to narrow focus and view trends

To monitor a specific supplier or groups of suppliers, check out:

  1. Refresh Requests (or Updating private company ratings) - obtain the latest data from a counterparty to update their report suite

  2. Email Alerts: ratings changes, news, solicitation - Send emails for criteria of your selection on a specific portfolio of companies, such as: ratings changes, news alerts (by category) and solicitation updates

To assess financial risk as part of an RFP, check out:

  1. Private Company Request -  we obtain private company financials on your behalf, and produce a report suite for you

  2. Comparison Report - Compare key metrics in verbal and graphical form (financials, ratios, earnings, etc.) of up to 5 companies of your own choosing

To investigate the rating of a specific supplier or develop a mitigation plan, check out:

  1. Your Client Services rep - we provide ratings investigations / deep dives on the FHR scores of public and private companies

  2. Our Client Support team (Support@rapidratings.com) will help with any ratings questions and delegate ratings questions to our Data Analysis team for further insight and analysis

  1. Ratio Extraction Report - Extract up to 22 ratios for the last 3 financial periods evaluated

To check if a company is public or private, check out:

  1. Coverage directory - Encompasses all our public / listed companies currently rated

  2. Portal buttons on Company Search - Allow you to request a rating for a company that you believe is public, or an update where you believe it's needed
