To ensure you have timely and actionable insights into your counterparty population, RapidRatings offers a Refresh Management Program to help keep your Financial Health Ratings (FHRs) up to date. We strongly recommend maintaining all ratings within a 12-month window to support effective trend analysis and proactive risk management.
Why Refreshes Matter
Timely insights: Updated FHRs reflect the most recent financial data, enabling better decision-making.
Risk mitigation: Identify and address emerging risks before they escalate.
Portfolio consistency: Maintain a uniform standard across your rated counterparties.
Refreshing Private Company Reports
Unlike public company reports, which are updated automatically, private company reports require manual updates. RapidRatings works directly with FHR Exchange Members to collect updated financials and complete the analysis.
To streamline this process, we offer two refresh approaches:
1. Automatic Refreshes
With this default approach, RapidRatings initiates refreshes without requiring client confirmation.
Key Details:
Applies to private companies in your Master Portfolio that have previously participated in the Outreach Program.
Refreshes are triggered based on the historical financial submission dates.
To be eligible, the company’s most recent request must be marked as “Rated” or “Share Accepted.”
To opt out of automatic refreshes for a company, simply remove it from your Master Portfolio.

2. Confirmation-Based Refreshes
If you prefer more control, you can opt into a confirmation-based approach.
How it works:
At the start of each contract year, your Client Services team will send a list of eligible companies.
You confirm which companies you'd like to refresh.
Once confirmed, RapidRatings will schedule and launch the refreshes accordingly.
Additional Notes
Default Setting: All clients are enrolled in the Automatic refresh program by default. You can switch to the confirmation-based approach at any time by contacting your Client Success Manager.
Utilization Tracking: For clients using automatic refreshes, any updated private company report in your Master Portfolio—regardless of who initiated the request—counts toward your outreach utilization.
Ad-Hoc Refreshes: Your team may send a request to refresh a private company request at any time. If you would like to receive a refresh excel list, or launch a refresh, send an email to [email protected].
