One key benefit of the Rapid Ratings platform is improved productivity. Many stakeholders need a quick, high-level view of risk without digging into details:

  • Management needs an overall risk picture to report to the board.

  • Risk councils must understand different types of risk across the enterprise.

  • Cross-functional teams need to know risks that could impact their work.

Clear, easy-to-read summaries are essential, but creating them often means pulling raw data, compiling, and formatting—time-consuming work.

We designed our Portfolio Risk Report to circumvent this additional effort. Once you select the group to analyze, the report provides an off-the-shelf PDF showing major changes, trends, and overall risk for that group.

Like the Matrix Report, the Portfolio Risk Report is run via the Report Builder section of the Platform. Be sure you've built your portfolio before running!

Portfolio Risk Report:

Our Portfolio Risk Report gives a clear snapshot of risk in your selected group over the past week, month, or quarter.

It’s especially popular with clients who use the FHR as a standalone metric (such as in supply chain or TPRM programs), as well as those who incorporate FHR into broader models.

  1. At the start, you’ll see a concise summary: number of companies in the portfolio, analysis period, average FHR, average change (delta), and key warning flags including counts of high-risk, very high-risk, and downward-trending companies.

  2. Page 1 highlights the most significant rating changes so you can get up to speed quickly.

  3. The following sections show the overall risk distribution and rank companies from weakest to strongest.

  4. The end of this report is the same data displayed in the Matrix Report, in PDF formatting.

The report is highly visual, combining tables and charts to illustrate portfolio risk and overlaying your group against our historical default distribution for added context.

This report is ideal for teams or individuals who aren’t involved in the daily management of suppliers, counterparties, or vendors but need a clear view of your current risk distribution to make informed strategic decisions.
