During the rating process RapidRatings may have reason to revert to your supplier seeking further information. Generally, these relate to missing or incomplete financial data or a change in the entity providing the data.
Where will I see it?
When this happens we update the status of the rating process which is visible in the Activity Log on your Program Management page. An orange tag, indicating the status, is seen under the company name in the Request record; the explanation appears in the Activity Log.
The table below shows a list of tags that may be assigned during the rating process. The right column provides sample reasons for each tag status.
|Non-Financial Information Missing
|The member has submitted financial documents with different currency types or with interim dates that do not correspond to the rating period.
|Question on Organizational Structure
|The member has submitted financial documents under the name of a different entity than the previously rated one.
|Question on Accounting Methodology
|The member has submitted financial documents with different accounting basis or we are unable to accept their tax financials.
|Missing Financial Statements
|The member has submitted financial documents which are missing a cash-flow statement or there is a gap year between financials provided.
|Already rated for this period
|The member has already been rated within the period of the financials submitted.
|Missing or Incorrect Line Items
|The member has submitted incomplete financial documents which are missing interest expense figures or where the balance sheet is not reconciled.
|The member company is a public company and may already have an FHR rating.
|When the reason falls outside of those listed above the Member Service Associate will provide a brief explanation.
