The HealthMark program accesses over 150 million company records from the RapidRatings database. We enrich this data further with aliases from our third-party data providers. You see these aliases in your search results, and occasionally they cause a mismatch in the results. This article explains the improvements we have made to eliminate mismatches and provides tips on optimizing your results.
The Enhancement
We enhanced the HealthMark search functionality to ensure it shows only the most relevant results. This makes it easier for users to quickly find companies within HealthMark.
Pre-enhancement
A search for "Apple" would return the following results, one of which is not a match.
Post-enhancement
Now a search for "Apple" returns precise matches.
Exceptions
Sometimes you may not find the company you are looking for. This is because:
- The company is not in our system
- The company has changed its name
- The company has changed its location (applicable if using the location feature while searching).
Optimizing your Results
You will get the most accurate results from company searches if you:
- Enter the legal name of the company.
- If you do not see the company, you are looking for, "Click here to widen search results" link.
- Enter the City, State, and Country to refine your search.
