You can assign one or more reference IDs (such as an internal vendor code or ERP/procurement ID) to any RiskPulse-rated company in your portfolio.
This makes it easier to match RiskPulse data with your own internal systems.
Adding a Reference ID to a Company Page
You can add a reference ID directly from a company's RiskPulse profile page.
1. Open the company's RiskPulse profile page.
2. If no reference ID has been added yet, the page reads "No supplier reference IDs have been added", along with an + Add Reference ID button.
3. Select + Add Reference ID, enter your Reference ID in the field, then select Add.
Multiple IDs
The ID appears as a chip at the top of the company profile. You can add more than one reference ID to the same company. Each one appears as its own chip, with options to edit or delete it.
Adding Reference IDs in Bulk (Coming Soon!!)
If you're uploading a batch of companies to RiskPulse, you can assign reference IDs at the same time.
1. In the RiskPulse company upload template, fill in the optional Reference ID column alongside company name and address.
2. Upload your file as usual.
3. On the Review Matches screen, each matched company shows the reference ID you provided next to its match score.
4. Once you confirm the matches and add the companies to your list, the reference IDs appear on each company's profile, where you can edit or remove them at any time.
Where You'll See Reference IDs
Once assigned, reference IDs appear throughout RiskPulse:
• Company profile — displayed as chips at the top of the page.
• RiskPulse Monitoring List — shown in a Reference ID column. If a company has more than one ID, the column shows firstID (+N) (the first ID plus a count). For example, "REF123 (+1)", and hovering shows all IDs (e.g., "REF123, WA536").
• Unified Supplier View — Reference IDs populate the existing Supplier ID column and are included in the matched-list export.
• RiskPulse API (Coming Soon!!) — Reference IDs can be retrieved through the API (read/return only).
Good to know
Optional | You don't need to assign a reference ID to a company. Companies without one show a clear empty state. |
Multiple IDs allowed | A single company can hold more than one reference ID, which is useful if you need to map it to different internal systems. |
Duplicates allowed | The same reference ID value can be assigned to more than one company; RapidRatings doesn't enforce uniqueness across companies. |
Format | Reference IDs must be alphanumeric, with no special characters. |
