What is the Bulk Upload Feature?
The Bulk Upload feature allows you to upload up to 50,000 companies and match them against the RiskPulse universe. This feature helps you quickly populate your RiskPulse List and stay on top of your supplier universe.
Once the bulk list is uploaded, you can:
View matched companies in a dedicated page with:
Confidence scores (A–D, blank if no match)
Uploaded data vs. matched data
Filters by confidence score
A breakdown of how the match was determined
Download results are in a CSV format and include:
Uploaded data
Matched data
Scoring structure per key data point
Take actions directly from the matched view:
Open a company profile (cost: 1 or 3 credits)
Add companies to your RiskPulse List
Bulk add up to 100 companies at once!
How to Use the Bulk Upload Feature
Step 1: Access Bulk Upload
You can access Bulk Upload from:
The RiskPulse landing page by selecting Upload Companies, or
The RiskPulse List page by opening the Bulk Upload tab
You’ll be taken to the Bulk Upload Page, which has two sections:
Upload Company List - where you can download a template, fill it in, and upload again when completed.
Uploaded Companies List - where your "Company List" will appear after you’ve uploaded it.
Step 2: Prepare and Upload Your File
In the Upload Company List section:
Download the Excel upload template.
Fill in your company (supplier) data in the correct format.
Mandatory fields are:
Company Name
Country (2‑character ISO country code, e.g., US, GB, CA)
Optional fields (recommended to improve match accuracy):
Address
Registration number
Save the file as a UTF-8 CSV
Required to preserve non‑English characters and prevent data corruption that could reduce matching accuracy.
Click Upload Template & attach your file - a separate page will open where you can attach it.
Confirm upload, and the file will be sent to our matching service.
Processing time: Up to 48 hours.
Your organization’s Primary Users will receive an email alert when the file is ready.
Step 3: Track Status in the Uploaded Companies List
While processing, the Uploaded Companies List shows:
File name
Processing status
Once ready, you can:
Review Matches online, or
Download CSV with full match details
All previous uploads remain accessible here for your records.
Step 4: Review Matches
On the Review Matches page, you can:
Compare uploaded vs. matched data
Filter by matching score
See confidence scores and detailed scoring for each data point
Matched Grade Scores:
A - Very Strong Match - High confidence — safe to add directly
B - Strong Match - Likely correct — verify if needed
C - Good Match - Review before adding
D - Loose Match - Careful review recommended
"—" - No Match Found - Company not found in RiskPulse universe
For the individual Match Grade components, the grade descriptions are as follows:
A - Exact Match
B - High Match (for Company Name, this could be an exact match but with different company extensions etc.)
C - Medium Match
D - Poor Match
E - Very Poor Match
O - Both values not present
X - Not Used / One value not present
Z - Not Matching
Take actions:
View company profile (credits apply if not previously viewed)
Add to RiskPulse List (credits apply if not previously viewed)
Bulk add up to 100 companies at once
Note: Adding a company to your list removes it from the Review Matches page.
Important Notes
One upload at a time – Only one file can be processed at a time. You must wait for the current upload to finish before submitting a new file.
Upload limits – Up to 50,000 companies per file
Bulk add limit – Up to 100 companies can be added at once from the review screen
Credit usage – Actions that consume credits (e.g., opening a company profile or adding a new company) will prompt a confirmation before proceeding
Unmatched companies – Companies are matched against the RiskPulse universe. If a company isn’t found, the confidence score will be blank, but you can still download the full results to review unmatched records offline.
Automatic USV integration – Once added to your RiskPulse List, companies are automatically included in the Unified Supplier View (USV), giving you a single consolidated view of your supplier portfolio alongside FHR ratings and Outreach statuses.
