The HealthMark program provides access to millions of company records from the RapidRatings database. This data is enriched with company aliases from third‑party data providers. These aliases appear in search results and help improve coverage, though in some cases, they occasionally cause a mismatch in the results.
We will provide guidance on how to optimize your search results.
How HealthMark Search Works
HealthMark search is designed to return the most relevant company results based on available company names, aliases, and location data. The search logic prioritizes accuracy, helping users quickly identify the correct companies within the HealthMark database.
Search Results and Matching
In some cases, a company name search (for example, a common name such as "Apple") may return multiple results due to shared or similar aliases. HealthMark search applies relevance filtering to surface the most appropriate matches first.
If the exact company you are searching for does not appear, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
The company is not currently included in the HealthMark database
The company has changed its legal name
The company has changed its location (when location filters are applied)
Optimizing Your Search Results
To achieve the most accurate search results, we recommend the following best practices:
Enter the company’s full legal name whenever possible
If the desired company does not appear, select “Click here to widen search results” to expand the matching criteria
Include City, State, and Country to further refine your search
