When you sign in to your RapidRatings account, you'll most likely see quite a few different portfolios. Viewing and editing rights to these portfolios depend on the user's permissions (Primary or Secondary User) as well as the portfolio type (Default or User Created).
We have broken it down for you below:
RapidRatings name / origin | What you see | Who can see it | Who can edit it | Recommended use |
Master Portfolio / default | Client Name | All users | Only primary users | Repository of public and private counterparties that you have decided to run through RapidRatings |
Master Private / default | Client Name - Private | All users | Only primary users | This should not be edited by users. It is meant as a repository of every private company report released for this client |
User portfolios / created by individual users | Varies | Only the user who created it | Only the user who created it | Individual users can track groups of companies of interest to them (set up alerts, run reports), or pull groups together for comparison |
User portfolios / created by individual users + request for all users to have visibility | Varies, but usually has a descriptive name (e.g.Client Strategic Vendors) | All users | Only primary users | This requires a support request to RapidRatings and should be used sparingly for groups of companies that will not change often and are of interest to the entire user group (such as critical vendors, or top 10 spend) |
